Grand Opening!
***We have a Grand Opening date for our new store, Halo Handmade - May 5, 2018 from 10:00 - 6:00! We are very excited, and more than a little nervous. This is completely new territory for us. We have had so much help getting the store ready, and no problem at all renting the booths. The interest has been wonderful. :-) I went to Vistaprint to design the grand opening banner and a few posters - very user friendly and not overly expensive, that was a welcome surprise.
***Joe Biden is considering a 2020 run for president. He is a caricature of a man, and recently said this in an interview:
That is ridiculous. It is no harder for a minority to get a photo ID than anyone else. What Biden and the Democrats do NOT want is for it to be harder for them to cheat. No one in their right mind can oppose voter ID laws - it's just common sense. Does he think Republicans are trying to disenfranchise drug dealers by requiring ID to obtain prescriptions? Or maybe we don't want them buying alcohol, obtaining a loan, or doing any of the myriad other things which require positive identification. This man is repulsive, but hey, I guess he's the best the Democrats can come up with.
***More Democrat lunacy:
It's scary to think they could regain a majority in one or both houses of Congress in November. We simply cannot let that happen.

Throughout history, there are many individuals who impacted the world and other people in great ways, but they, too, had their imperfections. With their limitations and shortcomings, God used them. This reminds me of when I was a child, and my mother would buy me a box of new crayons at the start of each school year. At first, the crayons were new and in perfect shape, but over time, they became worn down and flawed. It didn’t mean that the crayons were useless. On the contrary, some of my best artwork was done with overused and misshaped crayons.

Biden added that Republicans are trying to disenfranchise minorities by pressing for voter identification laws.
"It's what these guys are all about, man," Biden, also a former Delaware senator, said.
"Republicans don't want working class people voting. They don't want black folks voting," he said.

The deputy chairman of the Democratic National Committee said "women are dying" because members of his party are "losing elections."
Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) said at a "progressive change" training conference in Washington that Democrats must reclaim their former electoral prowess.
"Women are dying because we are losing elections," the Minneapolis Democrat said. "We don't have the right to lose a damn election. We have to win."
It's scary to think they could regain a majority in one or both houses of Congress in November. We simply cannot let that happen.
