Yikes!

***Oh my, July was the last time I blogged. I knew it had been a while, but good grief! Gonna try (again) to do better. We've been busy at the store, plus I have picked up another transcription office, so I don't have too much down time at the store any more.

We've had a lot going on! Doing everything we can to promote our artisan store, plus keep our other businesses going. Mark has been very busy with his carpet cleaning business, which is a good thing!

***I am so very glad Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed to the Supreme Court, but the awful behavior of the Democrats makes me sick to my stomach. What they put that family through in the name of getting their own way is deplorable. Everything we've found out since they started this character assassination has been that NONE of Judge Kavanaugh's accusers can corroborate anything they've accused him of. Absolutely nothing. Yet, there are people out there who call him a rapist (which he was never accused of, even by the Democrats), and worse. It should send a chill down the spine of any thinking American that the mere accusation of something like that, with no evidence at all, can ruin a reputation and career. I'm very thankful that Judge Kavanaugh and President Trump did not back down, I'm sure that's what the Democrats were counting on. I'm sure they thought they could intimidate Kavanaugh into withdrawing, or Trump into withdrawing his nomination. I'm so glad they stood strong and beat them, but 48 votes against such a qualified man is just inconceivable. I hope Joe Donnelly here in Indiana pays the price in the election. He voted for Obamacare and against Kavanaugh, that's all I need to know.

***The media is the enemy of freedom.

In four weeks, Americans go to the polls for the midterm elections that the news media are casting as a referendum on the Trump presidency. Over the summer, the broadcast networks have continued to pound Donald Trump and his team with the most hostile coverage of a President in TV news history — 92 percent negative, vs. just eight percent positive.
For this report, MRC analysts reviewed all 1,007 evening news stories (1,960 minutes of airtime) about the Trump administration on ABC, CBS and NBC from June 1 to September 30, tallying the coverage of each topic and all evaluative comments made by anchors, reporters and non-partisan sources (such as voters or experts).
The results show that, over the past four months, nearly two-thirds of evening news coverage of the Trump presidency has been focused on just five main topics: the Russia investigation; immigration policy; the Kavanaugh nomination; North Korea diplomacy; and U.S. relations with Russia. The networks’ coverage of all of these topics has been highly negative, while bright spots for the administration such as the booming economy received extremely little coverage (less than one percent of the four-month total).
