***Getting so close to our store opening! The magic date is May 5. After this weekend all but one of our booths should be set up, and she's coming on Monday. It's really coming together. We're really tired at the end of the day after working all day on the store, but it's very rewarding.

You'd think they'd learn - every time they start this kind of idiocy, the sales of their intended target go up. Liberals have been very good for Chick-fil-A's business, actually.

Ground zero for the latest outbreak? The headquarters of The New Yorker magazine. This week’s issue online features the bigoted lament of writer Daniel Piepenbring, who decries the fast-food chain’s “creepy infiltration” of the Big Apple and warns against the company’s “pervasive Christian traditionalism.” Chick-fil-A opened its fourth location in the city last month. The largest franchise in the country, it seats 140, employs 150, and along with the other NYC locations, donates an estimated 17,000 pounds of food to a local pantry for the homeless and hungry. The company is reportedly on track to become the third-largest fast-food chain in the world.
What are the Chick-fil-A-phobes so afraid of?
A private business succeeding in the marketplace based on its merits, without coercion or cronyism.
An enterprise that values hard work, honesty and integrity.
A family-owned American Dream come true that creates jobs, pays taxes, satisfies customers of all backgrounds and gives back to the community.

The National Rifle Association's Political Victory Fund raised $2.4 million from March 1 to March 31, the group's first full month of political fundraising since the nation's deadliest high school shooting on Valentine's Day, according to filings submitted to the Federal Elections Commission. The total is $1.5 million more than the organization raised during the same time period in 2017, when it took in $884,000 in donations, and $1.6 million more than it raised in February 2018.
