***My goodness, I've never been this busy. Every office is slamming me! Glad to have the work, but dang, working from 4:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. is getting really old. Goes with the territory, though.

***U.S. household wealth sets another record.

  • Net worth for households and non-profit groups rose by $1.7t q/q, or 1.8%, to $96.2t, according to Fed’s financial accounts report, previously known as flow of funds survey
  • Value of financial assets, including stocks and pension fund holdings, increased by $1.2t
  • Household debt increased at a 3.7% annual rate in the second quarter 
  • Household real-estate assets rose by $508b; owners’ equity as share of total real-estate holdings up to 58.4% from 57.9% 
This is all good news, therefore you probably won't see it covered on the evening news.

Pretty sure he's not gonna lose a lot of sleep over that. It really gets me that she says Trump is the one dividing the country. She could not have it more wrong, but then, that's what the Left does. They make a mess, then blame the other side.

***Lots of good news this week, at least in my opinion. The Supreme Court struck down mandatory union dues and mandatory abortion counseling in pro-life clinics in California, they also upheld Trump's Muslim travel ban. This is good news not only because I agree with all the decisions, but because they are constitutional. That's what the Supremes are supposed to do - interpret the Constitution. They are not there to legislate from the bench. Equally huge is the fact that breaking today is the news that Anthony Kennedy is retiring. His voting record is pretty mixed...hopefully Trump can hit another home run with the next appointee the way he did with Neil Gorsuch. You think the Democrats have been psychotic up to now? Bullying/Free Speech

***I have to get this off my chest. I have avoided the myriad threads in Facebook about the tragedy that took place in Richmond last week as I didn't want to deal with the inevitable silliness that would follow my posting my opinion. The boy's mother is the one who called in the tip, and the police where there when he arrived. She no doubt saved several lives, the boy in question had two firearms and explosives in his possession. He obviously was planning to do a lot of harm. Since then, however, there has been an overabundance of weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth. Of course it's tragic and awful, you would have to be nuts to think otherwise. BUT, if the Dennis middle schoolers did not feel like victims before, they certainly do now. Counselors, days out of school, free T-shirts, free day at the local recreational complex, endless worrying about their feelings...not terrible things, but come on. ***Today's the day we go and cut our Christmas tree with Johnathan, and then tomorrow we are going shopping with both kids...what a perfect weekend!
