Heartening

***It's great to see Mr. & Mrs. America come to the rescue of those who have been affected by Harvey, Irma, and the wildfires out west. See, we don't need the government to rescue us. We always pitch in and help each other. You won't see a whole lot about this in the mainstream media, because they, along with their Leftist brethren, want us to think we can't get along without government help. That is just not true.

As Rush Limbaugh says, the people who make the country work rebuild it after the hurricanes. Here's an interesting quote:

By the way, have you seen the stories, folks? Have you seen these stories all over cable news about how great the Trump administration is doing with FEMA in response to both Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma? Have you seen those stories? I mean, they’re… (interruption) Yeah. I know. They’re not there. Those stories, you don’t find them.

Very true. We're not seeing a lot about regular people going down there and doing what needs to be done.

You know who you’re not seeing? You’re not seeing Black Lives Matter — they’re not passing anything out — and you’re not seeing Antifa or Antifa, whatever they call themselves. These anarchist, black masked ragtag bunch of protesters. You’re not seeing any of them. You’re not seeing any. You’re not seeing Code Pink. You don’t see all of those women that were protesting Trump wearing the vagina hats. You don’t see them out there. You don’t see any of those groups whatsoever.

The above speaks for itself. They call themselves "social justice warriors," but you won't see them get their hands dirty in order to help some of these people they claim to represent. The Left has shown its true colors over and over since Trump's inauguration, and they just keep doing it.

***People "still in therapy" over Clinton election loss.  That's just sad.

***Beautiful. :-)

***Well, at least they're not trying to hide their socialism any more:

Sens. Cory Booker of New Jersey and Jeff Merkley of Oregon are the latest Democratic 2020 presidential prospects to announce their support for Sen. Bernie Sanders’ single-payer health care proposal.
Sanders is set to introduce his legislation, which Democrats are calling “Medicare for all,” on Wednesday. It would replace private health insurance markets and have the federal government foot all medical bills.
Already, two Democrats seen as potential presidential contenders, California Sen. Kamala Harris and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, have said they’ll co-sponsor the bill — as have Rhode Island Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, Hawaii Sen. Brian Schatz and Massachusetts Sen. Ed Markey.

Wow. With the colossal failure that is Obamacare - they still want to do this. Single payer, completely government controlled health care has always been the goal. At least now they're admitting it.

My three-year-old daughter stuck out her hand and said, “Look at the fly I killed, Mommy.” Since she was eating a juicy pickle at the time,
I thrust her contaminated hands under the faucet and washed them with antibacterial soap.
After sitting her down to finish her pickle, I asked, with a touch of awe, “How did you kill that fly all by yourself?”
Between bites, she said, “I hit it with my pickle.”

***Just paid my quarterly taxes...
